At first a wannabe Popstar
with his classic Britney Spears
with his goatee and his slick locks
he looked older than his years. 

"Can you feel the love in the room"
he was one never to forget
"Hit Me Baby One More Time"
was a song he would regret.

But to our surprise he reappeared
and Pop Idolism he did seek
to restore a broken ego
that was battered and quite weak.

He went about his business
and got through to the public vote
then turned up with a new look
that turned him into a dreamboat.

But still it wasn't quite enough
what did he do so wrong?
he must have thought he'd made it
as he sang with style "So Strong".

Alas, he lost out coming third
he'd only just got beat
but no matter how close he'd got
he still had to face defeat.

In the final 10, Rik lost his voice
he could not possibly sing
and back came eager Darius
who'd been waiting in the wing.

Now Darius shone, he entertained
he knew just how to please
he sang "it's not unusual"
and gyrated, what a tease!

 He achieved great things, did well coming 3rd
his parents should be proud
and rest assured wherever Darius goes
there'll always be a crowd !
